Two Curley brothers left New Jersey in the 1880s as part of an Irish railroad crews. They homesteaded near Manchester, S.D.
There are a few other Curleys – we believe unrelated – in South Dakota, even some American Indian name bearing the Curley surname. Anybody have any info on the other South Dakota Curleys?
I'm the last in our line of Curleys – a newspaper editor in Brookings.
