Hi Kellie,

We live in Sydney Australia and have a lot of information we have put together on the Curley's from Killaloe County Clare.

In putting this together we have researched a Patrick and family who we believe, from the information you have given, is the same Patrick and Elizabeth.

We believe that Patrick,s father John is the brother of my husband's Great Great Great Grandfather Timothy Curley and they both are son's of Lawrence and Ellen (Maloney) Curley. We also believe that Patrick's parent were John and Mary (Stuart) Curley and that he was baptised at Killaloe on 16th August 1834 and that the family at that time were living at Craglea a townland area about 1 mile from Killaloe

When Patrick, Elizabeth and and family came to Sydney from Killaloe in 1881 there immigration to Australia was sponsored by and the fare paid by Ellen Curley, my Husband's great grandmother. It also seems that they also lived along side each other in Catherine Street in Leichardt.

We also have founds details on 3 sisters of Patrick who also came to Australia in the 1860's.

Would you please get back to us as we would love to review with you any family history information you have on the Curley's from Killaloe.

Robert & Lorraine Curley
