My Grandmother's ancestor is a Peter Curley. I have his obit but there is no information on where in Ireland Peter Curley was from. I do know he was married to a Rose McMahon and both died in Shields, Marquette County but I do not know where in the United States this is. My Great Great Aunt cut out the obit without including a date or place. The obit for Peter's wife says Rose came from Monaghan County Ireland, and she was born in 1818. The obit also said that the couple came to Shields 50 years ago. This same aunt repeated not including date or place on the clipping for Rose. Their daughter Margarette Curly married Patrick Ford. I do know that Patrick Ford lived in New Jersey and New York before going West.
Any suggestions?
