I am researching the connection between the Curle family and the Williams family in order to determine the parents and siblings of my ancestor Edward Williams that married Jemima Anderson. Edward was born circa 1740 give or take a few years. His first wife is unknown and second wife was Jemima Anderson. This Edward came to Kentucky in 1779 according to the Draper Manuscripts and land dispute depositions. He lived outside Fort Boonesborough for about two and a half years and then helped to establish Anderson's station on Hingston (later became Montgomery Co.) Could you tell me more about Vincent Williams? Who were his parents and brothers and sister? Where did he come from? Also, where did the Curle family come from before they settled in Kentucky? Any help would be appreciated. I think there could be a connection here, but that is yet to be determined. Do you know who Dudley Curle was? I would like to know who his parents and siblings were and more about him. Any help appreciated. freeway4me@hotmail.com
