I am a first time poster...I have been trying to locate anyone who might be connected to a W W CRADDOCK of Ashland, Va. The reason is that in a book published about 1955 by George Selden Wallace entitled " Edward Carter of Blenheim Plantation and his descendants" beneath several portraits of my CARTERS is listed " photo courtesy of W W CRADDOCK of Ashland,VA". One is beneath a portrait of Henry Rose Carter (I have info on him) and am seeking to locate some other members of this family who obviously MUST be connected perhaps through marriage to my Carter ancestor...in order to try to fill in some blanks on his siblings,etc. Believe me, I have contacted Ashland but with no answers to my quest..
