Hazel Pauline Marcum Cradic, of Surgoinsville, Hawkins Co
TN, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday, March 14,
2007 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins
County. Mrs. Cradic was a faithful member of First Freewill
Baptist Church of Surgoinsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Delbert
Marcum.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wandell Cradic;
her daughter, Karen Renee and husband, Philip Nowell,
Surgoinsville, TN; grandsons, Matthew G. Trent, Atlanta,
GA, Ben P. Trent, Kingsport, TN; a brother, James W.
Marcum; sisters, Mildred Harrell, Mrs. Arthur (Oma), all
of Surgoinsville, TN; constant best friend and sister,
Mrs. Bobbie (Geneva) Webster, Mooresburg, TN, along with
several nieces and nephews. A special thank-you goes out
to Don, Kathy and Eric.

The family received friends on Thursday, March 15, 2007,
5 to 7 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill.

A funeral service followed the visitation Thursday, March
15, 2007 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jesse Hartgrove officiating.

A graveside service was conducted on Friday, March 16, 2007
at 11 a.m. at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens with Philip
Nowell, Bobbie Webster, Eric Webster, Matthew Trent, Don
Coleman, Ben Trent and Kay Lee Cradic serving as pall-
bearers. Family and friends met at the funeral home at 10 a.m.
to go in procession.

A heart-felt thank-you to the entire staff of Wellmont Hospice.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill, TN, served the
Cradic family.
