Hi Bernadette,

In 1929 a William Considine was the occupier of land in the townland of Deer Island, in the civil parish of Kilchreest/Kilchrist - on the shore of the Shannon Esturay in south-east Clare. Deer Island is just off shore from Ballynacally and next to Coney Island. I am not sure what RC parish he would have been in - possibly Ballynacally.
You should look on the County Clare Library website to find many resources which might give you further leads.
Best wishes,
Mary Considine
