"JOHN WILLIAM CONSIDINE, JR., "Johnny," was born October 7, 1896, at Spokane, Washington. For the last eighteen years his home has been in Seattle, Washington.

"His father, John William Considine, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 29, 1863, but has spent most of his life in Seattle. He is in the theatrical and oil business, being president of Sullivan & Considine, a theatrical corporation, and also of Considine Martin Oil Company of Texas. Mrs. Considine was Elizabeth Anna Donnellan of Chicago before her marriage. There are two daughters in the family.

"Johnny was prepared at the Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington, and belonged to Leland Stanford, Junior, University, in the Class of 1920. As Sheff he took the Select Course; went out for crew and track; and belongs to Berzelius and the Colony. His roommates were John H. Flagg, John B. Payson (1921 S.), Norris B. Gaddess (1922 S.), James M. Braden (1918), and John T. Callahan.

"Johnny entered service on March 18, 1918, in New York City; attended the Naval Officers' Training School at Pelham Bay for a short time; passed his examinations and was commissioned Ensign, U. S. Naval Reserve Force, in July, 1918; and worked on naval communications in the cable censor's office, New York City, until his discharge December 13, 1918, in New York City.

"He expects to receive his degree in February, 1921, and then will enter Oxford University, with the intention of going into the oil mining and refining business after completing his graduate work. His permanent address is 1620 Eighteenth Avenue, Seattle, Washington." [photo adjacent]
