Hi Ann,
My grandmother was a Considine and her grandfather came Ennistymon in County Clare. His name was Michael Considine (b abt 1818) and he married Catherine Brennan (b abt 1832. They married in Kilfinore just before they went out to Australia. They went to Australia on the Ship "Monsoon" arriving 17th August 1854. They lived at Little Pocket, Ipswich Queensland and they had four children Michael b 1857, Catherine b 1859, Patrick b 1862, Thomas b 1862. I believe there were 2 other girls who died very young. Micheal Jnr married Agnes Annie Muir and Catherine married John McCarthy but have no idea who the other boys married. Michael Snr died in 1889. I am not able to find Michael and Catherine's parents or siblings. If any body can help I would appreciate it. I was in Ireland 18 months ago and went to the Clare Heritage but they found nothing on both parties.
Regards Joyce
