** I have nothing to reference a marriage for Ambers except his obit.
Normally I'd pick up the spouse and go on. This time I didn't
because he lists three sons but they seem to be the children of his
niece Anna Ray Jarrell Boyd (see her obituary, below) but doesn't
list his\her daughters.

Ambers Jarrell, age 88 of Banner, KY., husband of Virginia B. "Jenny"
Jarrell, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 in the VA Medical Center,
Lexington, KY.
He was born November 3, 1919 in Dana, KY., the son of the late Sam
Jarrell and Dollie Conn Jarrell.
Mr. Jarrell was Army veteran of WWII a member of the Little Salem
Regular Baptist Church, Dana, KY.
Surviving Family; his boys, Charles Ray Boyd, Larry Dean Boyd and
Jeffrey Todd Boyd, one sister, Ellie Loftis of Lexington, KY.,
several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers,
Burt Jarrell, Jr., Bruce Jarrell, Fred Jarrell, Ben Jarrell, Willie
Jarrell, Charlie Jarrell, Crit Jarrell and Ernest Jarrell.
Funeral Services: for Ambers Jarrell will be conducted Thursday, June
26, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Little Salem Regular Baptist Church,
Dana, KY, with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jarrell Cemetery, Dana, KY.
Visitation after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church

loving grandmother of her four beautiful princesses, Jade, Jessica,

Like a mother to Jason Spurling (nephew), Lori Hill (niece), Curtis
Withrow (friend) and very many others throughout her life.
Daughter of the late Robert and Amy Spurling; daughter-in-law of Bruce
and Birdie Jarrell; sister of Wanda Richards, Marilyn Hamilton (Gary),
Herbert Spurling, the late Robert Spurling Jr. and Nancy Innis;
sister-in-law of Clifford (Marcy), Margaret Boyette (Al), Uvon
Fruciano, Troy (Elizabeth), Gary (Sharon) and the late Anna Rae,
Charles and Lowana; very dear aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and
nephews.
Wonderful and generous friend to everyone.
Employed by General Electric for many years, where she had many great
friends.
Born in Deer Lodge, TN.
Passed away on July 3.

Born on May 2, 1935, in Dana, he was the son of the late Bruce and
Birdie Jarrell.
He was a former General Motors employee.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Spurling Jarrell.
Other survivors include two daughters, Lowana "Cricki" and Candice
Jarrell; three sisters, Anna Rae Boyd, Margaret Boyette and Uvon
Fruciano; three brothers, Clifford Jarrell, Troy Jarrell, and Gary
Jarrell.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 5, at 11 a.m., at
the Union Grove Baptist Church, Sunbright, Tennessee.
Burial was in the Union Grove Cemetery, Sunbright, Tennessee.

2002, in the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, after a brief

She was born on November 16, 1932, at Dana, the daughter of the late

She was a factory worker and housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Boyd; two brothers,
James and Charles Jarrel; and a sister, Lowana Bearden.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Ray Boyd, and wife, Pam, and
Larry Dean Boyd, all of Dana; and Jeffery Todd Boyd and wife,
Annette, of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Lenore Rowe and husband
Kermit, of Dana, and Mary (Berta) Rowe of Dana; three brothers,
Clifford Jarrell, Troy Jarrell and Gary Jarrell, all of Dana; two
sisters, Margaret Boyette of Dana, and Uvon Fruciano of Warren,
Michigan; seven grandchildren, Dwayne Rowe, Stacey Mullins, Amy
Adkins, Alan Adkins, Megan Boyd Wright, Amanda Rowe and Lacey Boyd
Hall; and six great-grandchildren, Casey Rowe, Keegan Mullins, Chely
Wright, Austin Rowe, Ethan Rowe and Emily Wright.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 10, at 11 a.m., in
the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church, at Dana, with ministers
of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in the Boyd Cemetery at Dana, under the professional care
of Hall Funeral Home of Martin.

Lexington, following a long illness.
She was born January 29, 1941, in Dana, the daughter of the late Bruce
Jarrell and Birdie Boyd Jarrell,
Survivors include one son, Terry Lee Bearden of Dallas, Georgia; one
daughter, Barbara Gail Whitener of Blue Ridge, Georgia; four brothers,
James Jarrell of Cleveland, Ohio, Charles Jarrell of Warren, Michigan,
Clifford Jarrell of Ivel, Troy and Gary Jarrell both of Dana; three
sisters, Anna Ray Boyd and Margaret Boyette, both of Dana, Uvon
Fruciano of Warren, Michigan; five grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 2, at 11 a.m., at the
Little Salem Regular Baptist Church at Dana, with the Regular Baptist
ministers officiating.
Burial will be in the Jarrell cemetery.
