WINSLOW TURNER III, son of Winslow Turner II and Mary Elizabeth (Williams) Williams, was born 29 JAN 1811 in Upper Cuivre, St. Charles District, Missouri Territory, and died 6 MAY 1880 in McDade, Bastrop County, Texas. He was buried in Texas State Cemetery, Austin, Texas. He married 1) Sarah Carpenter SOWELL 16 JUN 1831 in Gonzales, Texas, daughter of John Newton Sowell and Sarah Rachel Carpenter. She was born 1810 in Davidson County, Tennessee, and died 1837 in Gonzales County, Texas. He married 2) Hannah Leak CONN 18 NOV 1839 in Gonzales County, Texas, daughter of John Thomas Conn and Mary Margaret "Polly" Norman. She was born 9 AUG 1819 in Elks Creek, Shelby County, Kentucky, and died 1848 in Gonzales County, Texas.

I just located a census record that appears to be for Winslow Turner III. Records indicate both of his wives have died by 1850 and I am not clear about any of his children. I also have no idea if/how he might connect to the Ratliff family but would sure like to know.
