I thought I might start a thread that may help link those related to Conns of the Pittsburgh area. Most of my close Conn relatives are from around McDonald and Oakland, Pennsylvania.
My line: I am Clinton M Koenig, son of Sally Ann Conn, daughter of Leander Duane Conn by Sally Ann George, son of Leander James Conn by Josephine Tropeck, son of Charles Livingston Conn by Margaret Henrietta Bowland, son of Charles Pierson Conn by Amanda Livingston, son of Andrew Bruce Conn by Mary Provinces, son of James Conn by Elinor Bruce, son of Thomas Conn by Mary McElkany, son of William Conn(???). William and his son Thomas allegedly came to America(along with a possible 4 siblings) from Down County, Ireland.
I've also wondered if the famous boxer, Billy Conn, who grew up around East Liberty of Pittsburgh, may be linked to my family. I even seem to find his parents' names though.
