I believe you will have to rethink who Elizabeth Garratt's parents were; namely, they were Freeman Garratt (the son of Townsend Garratt & Sarah Bowerman) & Sarah Melissa Conger.

Mrs. Sam Osterhout, witness to the wedding of Albert H. Potter & Elizabeth Garratt, was Elizabeth Seymour Conger b. 1832 in Hallowell Tp., Prince Edward County, Ontario--her parents were named as David Conger & Ruth Clark on her death register. Since Sarah Melissa Garratt was very close in age, I wonder if she was perhaps a sister of Elizabeth Seymour Conger; however, this is only speculation. Note how Kathleen, daughter of Sarah Melissa, also had the middle name Seymour.
