Would like to know the parents of A. F. Conger who was living in
Merritts District of Cobb County, GA in 1860 with a wife L. Conger
and two children, ages 5 and 2. He appears to have been the same Asa F. Conger who enlisted in Co. L of the Phillip's GA Legion in 1862. After the war he seems to have taken a different wife and was living in Walker Co., GA with two post-war children.
In 1880, he and the same wife are in Hogan Co., AR. Would like any information on this man, and particularly his first wife and her family. Thanks, R. L. Guffin
