I believe you are referring to the David Conger who was the son of Jonathan Conger and Ann Enyard, according to Conger genealogy research. Here is a link to David on a detailed Conger family Web site: http://www.schueths.com/doug/genealogy/data/pafg35.htm#453 David and Mary Darby had 3 children: Elias Darby Conger, which is my line, and David Conger and Mary E Conger. Here is a link to Mary E. Conger, her husband Reuben Wright, and their 9 children. http://www.schueths.com/doug/genealogy/data/pafg1616.htm#40108 It largely agrees with your query but says Reuben died in 1845 in Wayne Twp, Warren Co, OH and that Mary simply died in Ohio. Perhaps there is new research on Mary Conger Wright's date and place of death? There is a Reuben [Ruben] Wright in the 1840 Census in Wayne Twp, Warren Co, OH, age 20-30, likely Reuben and Mary's 8th child born about 1805. The Wright family was in Monroe County, Ohio, for a time. Note that 9th child John Conger Wright was born on 16 May 1811 in Greene Co, PA, married Margaret McElroy about 1833 in Monroe Co, OH, and died in Appanoose Co, IA, in 1890. http://www.schueths.com/doug/genealogy/data/pafg1609.htm#40167 More than one Conger family traveled the Ohio River west to Iowa. My Conger line did. Hope that helps. Barbara Notify Administrator about this message?
