I am researching my great-great-grandparents. I have a Sarah P. Colson that was living in Winterport in 1850, in the household of Eli Colson, father of Prentiss (Prentice). I believe these two married, but I don't know when. I have information on some children, and I believe that they moved from Winterport, possibly to Portland and then to Belfast. Boston may also be a factor. I believe that Prentiss was in the Civil War, and died in Belfast, with Sarah dying in Bangor. I am interested in determining who Sarah's parents were. I am assuming that she was a Colson at birth and lived with and married a relative. Any help will be appreciated.
