My ancestors were John Hankins and Felicia (Tallisha) Collins who were married in Charlotte County Va in 1790. Fellicia's father was Thomas Collins. The family did not leave Virginia. John and Felicia had a son, William "Buck"Hankins who was a planter in Lunenberg Co. I have traced the Harding side but can find little about Collins. Thomas Collins appears in various Charlotte county records. I've found the marriage record of Felicia and John. However, I'm stumped regarding the larger Collins family and can find no birth records.
