I found this site accidently while researhing the Pigeon Roost Massacre. I'm a decendant of Zebulon Collings b 1745. I have been reading everyone's messages and I am confused. I believe William Edwards Collings b 1766 is Zebulon's son and William Elston Collings is his father. My lineage is through John collings b 1795 to William Edward Collings b 1766 to Zebulon Collings b 1745 to William Elston Collings. Is this correct? If so can you give me the dates of birth, death, marriages, etc.
I would appreciate any advice. I am rather new at this. I do have the Collings, Richeys and The Pigeon Roost Massace book published in 1980. My Grandfather (Lyman Z. Thomas) and Mother (Patricia Anne Thomas) are both listed in the book. I read there was an updated copy of this book in 2003. Is this the most current? Can I still get a copy?
