My mother is Verlene Cooksey. Her mother was Laura Alice Widner who married Harrison Ely Cooksey. They had five children. Laura's mother was Sarah Caroline Collings who married Newton Jasper Widner. Sarah's family was part of the pigeon roost massacre. Have geneology back to 1700's in Indiana. If this will help anybody.
