Am looking for information on Adam Cobler and his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Stineman and descendants. The spelling of the surname is questionable as it appears as Cupler, Kipler, and Cobler in various documents and censuses. They were living in Barnett Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania in 1850 as "Cobler;" in Belle Township, Clearfield County in 1870 & 1880 as "Cupler." Surname appears under the three spellings in her father's probate. Among their children: John, b. 1840; Perry C., b. 1842; Maria, b. 1844; Caroline, 1846; Adam, b. 1848; Elizabeth, b. 1856; Charles, b. 1858; Jane, b. 1860; Frank, b. 1862; Hester, b. 1866. John and Perry both served with 105th. PA Inf., Co. F.
