Isom Cloud b. 1779, died 1876

I am a ggg grandson of Isom Cloud who was born in 1779 in North Carolina and died in 1876 in Indiana. The names of Isom's parents have been a mystery for years.

Some people have linked him as a brother to Elizabeth Cloud, b. 1765. Elizabeth married Richard Bundren. Both Isom and the Bundrens live near each other in North Carolina and seem to move to Tennessee at the same time also living there in close proximity. When Richard died, records have been found showing Isom making purchases at the estate sale.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Abner Cloud b. 1739; he was married to Amy Pyle.

I am wondering if anyone has found new material linking Isom and Elizabeth; or has an idea as to who Isom's parents were.
