Hi Charlie, I would love to receive copies of whatever you have on Fadora and her family. I did receive a copy of a photo a while back that was supposed to be Fadora but it turned out not to be her but one of her kin. I had been in contact with Dwane Falkner down in Shelby County and had run the photo by him and he said that it was not Fadora and then he told me who it was but I can't remember who he said unless I go back in my emails. One thing that has puzzeled me is the ages of Fadora and her sister Calvania in the 1850 Shelby County census which showed Fadora at about age 15 and her sister about 1 year old. Do you know if her father Squire married twice? Boy, I can't wait to hear back from you. James McDonald was my G-G-Grandfather and I have almost nothing on that family so what you have may open up a new door for me. I had heard about the book "The Last Chief of the Kewahatchie" and Dwane sent me a copy of the book but told me not to believe everything in it. The book tells of James McDonald getting shot during the Civil War and dying. Leaving Fadora a widow with the two boys Robert S. and W. B. Do you have info on the son "W. B." I have a lot on the Robert S. as that is the line I'm in. In the book, Louise Moore Sims, the author, mentions "W. B." (this is the name shown in the 1870 Shelby census with Fadora and William G. Falkner family)on as "Willie". Thanks for replying to my posting. If you have photos you want to send just send them to my email which is: chevy561@verizon.net Thanks again, Adrian Scott Garland, TX Notify Administrator about this message?
