I am directly related to the William Cloud who went to SC ca. 1765 through his son, Daniel, to William A. Cloud (Both named in the 1810 will)to Adeline Amelia who married Tyrus Bell. As a DAR member, I am curious to know why William and his sons, including Daniel, are not listed as Patriots. Do any of you have a clue?
For the Texas Clouds, you might be interested in knowing that Adeline Cloud Bell's line all came to central Texas, notably Comanche and Erath Counties, after leaving AL and MS.
