I have three known Williams Clews in my family line: the eldest was a miner in 1846; his son was a coal miner in 1846 and 1855 and married Sarah Bullas in 1846 (info from marriage record); this couple's son was also William Clews but I have no information on him (family source information only) except that he had a sister named Harriet Emma Clews b. December 07, 1855 in Pelsall, Staffordshire, England (info from birth record). I am not aware of a William Clews who was a minister but it certainly is possible (I will check my family source). I do know that Harriet Emma Clews immigrated to Michigan, USA sometime after 1901.
