Looking for the parents and other children of Samuel Clement Hopkins and how he connects to the Clements.
Rebecca married 27 Nov 1839 in Woodbury, NJ.
There were many Hopkins/Carpenter marriages in the NJ, Long Island, NY area. Many were descended from RI Gov Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Looking to connect my William Henry Hopkins born 13 Feb 1838 in Springville, Erie Co., NY. He married Kate Moore d/o George & Adelia Moore of Schenectady, NY on Dec 28, 1864 in Andrew, Jackson Co., Iowa after his return from the Civil War. They had 5 kids only 1 son William B. Hopkins b 1866.
