Am looking for a connection of the Terry, Clement, Gooch and Brown families of NC and then McNairy, TN. I may be looking in the wrong place, but feel there is a connection somehow.
My Browns were born in NC and then moved to the McNairy, TN area. Hezekiah Brown, his wife was supposedly a Sarah Gooch, had a son named Mathew. Do not know who Mathew's first wife was. Mathew's son, John Hezekiah Brown, was my great, great grand. John named one of his sons James Terry Brown, and a daughter was Dicie Clement Brown. I know the Browns and Goochs were close and thought maybe there was a connection to the Terry and Clement families.
Does anyone have any ideas?
