My gggrandfather was W. L. M. Clement. My mother's maiden name was Georgia Mary Clement. I have been trying to find the parents of W. L. M. for some time with no success. I know he lived in Quchita Co., Ark. in 1850 and shows up on tax records in the 1840's along with Thomas Clement. He married Mary J. Rowland in 1854 in Jefferson or Hot Spring County. She was the daughter of Daniel L. and Lestina Parker. She married John Rowland in 1850 and is shown in that census living next to Daniel and Lestina in Saline County, Ark. Mary is most likely a Foster, since Mrs. Lestina Foster is shown marrying Danil L. Parker in West Feliciana, La. in 1836. W. L. M. moved to Lake City, Fla. along with Mary's parents. During the war W. L. M. relocated to central america and never returned. Mary visited him there once but returned to Lake City. In the 1870's Mary, her son Daniel and her parents located in Pasco County, Fla. I noticed some of your postings shown W. L. M. from Tenn. and some from GA. I would appreciate anything you could provide to further my search.
