I have an ancestor names Tirzah Clement, about whom I know little.
Based on two census listings after her marriage and the cemetary listing in MI where she's buried, she was most likely born 1802-1804, for sure in New York.
Tirzah was married 1820-26 in Ontario, Cattaraugus or nearby county in New York. Her husband's name was Osee Montgomery GOODALE. They had four sons: Charles (b 1826), Solomon (b 1829), James (b 1832), Oliver (b 1835)--all born Cattaraugus Co. (probably).
I have 1830, 1840, 1850 and 1860 census data for Tirzah & Osee GOODALE. Tirzah died in 1862 in Michigan... probably Clinton Co. (buried Saginaw Co.).
I'd like to find Tirzah's birth data, details on her wedding to Osee, and any/all her parents' information.
Possible hints about her father's name from census lookups performed for me by others:
1820 NY Ontario Seneca - Hugh Clements (with S)
1820 NY Alleghany Co - Jona/Jonah Clement, Cyrus A. Clement
1820 NY Ontario Co - two John Clement, Peter Clement
(though I don't have all the tick marks for these guys)
I'm working on DAR supplementals, so details are important. ;)
