George Rogers Clark Bicentennial Celebration Collection
As part of the Indiana State Museum’s 1979 celebration of the bicentennial of George Rogers Clark’s victory at Vincennes, a committee was established in 1978 to locate the descendants of Clark, members of his family, and the men who served with him at Vincennes and at other times during the American Revolution.
Isaac McBride served with George Rogers Clark. His daughter Mary McBride married James Allen, and their daughter Martha Catherine Allen married Matthew Simpson Clegg, so all of their descendants are of interest to this committee. Further information is available at the following website:
