“Some of the Descendants of William Chase of Roxbury and Yarmouth, Mass,” serialized in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register ca 1933, identifies Seth as Seth Snow Chase, born 1 September 1794, son of Ebenezer(5) Chase and his first wife, Sarah Snow [ Register 88[1934]:120, 121. ]

The Chase line is Seth Snow(6), Ebenezer(5), Walter(4), Walter(3), Benjamin(2), William(1).

If you don’t have access to the Register via a local library, visit the NEHGS website at NewEnglandancestors.org, and utilize their copy service.
