Phyllis Kortesmaki, 71 of Lake Wilson formerly of Racine, WI passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Tyler Hospice.
No services will be held at this time. The Tyler Area Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Ridgeview Hospiceat 240 Willow St. Tyler, MN 56178
Phyllis was born July 6, 1937 in Fargo, ND to Arthur and Anna (Koetz) Chase. She lived in Wisconsin most of her life and was a caregiver at assisted living facilities. She moved to Lake Wilson to be near her daughters in September 2008 and entered into hospice in December.
She is survived by her children: Lee (Holly) Draper of Beach Park, IL, Lynne (Voyl) Beers of Lake Wilson,MN, Dale (Julie) Kortesmaki of Sturtevant, WI, Amy (Steve) Willison of Sioux Falls, SD; ex husband and friend James Kortesmaki; grandchildren: Jeanne Draper and Dallas, Amber, Zakary and Olivia Kortesmaki, James, Joanna, Julie, Abigail, David, Peter, Daniel and Rebekah Willison; Sisters Margaret Heaton of Racine, WI and Donna Mork of Tustin, CA and many nieces and nephews.
