I have an original carte de visite photograph of “John H. Chase”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Sterling (Whiteside Co.) IL in approximately 1875-1885, and he looks to be about 30 years old. At the same time I obtained the photo of John H. Chase, there was another carte de visite attached – of Mrs. Hellen L. Chase, but it does not have a photographer’s name or location listed. Hellen L. Chase’s photo was taken approximately the same time, and she looks to be about 50-60 years old.
