I have a copy of pages from the Descendants of William Chase of Roxbury and Yarmouth, Mass by George Chamberlain.
It reads William Chase (2) of Yarmouth, born in England as early as 1627, died at Yarmouth, 27 Feb. 1684/5. He married first, about 1644, ___________ ; and secondly _______________. It has been said that he had four children by each wife, and that his second wife was Elizabeth Holder. It lists children of first wife - William 1645, Jacob 1647, John 1649, and Elizabeth (married Daniel Baker 1674).
Children probably by second wife, Abraham, Benjamin, Samuel. An elderly gentleman in Wisconsin was kind enough to send me files of Chase geneology which he had compiled for years. This was before the computer era, so I took his material as more accurate, as he had to actually gather it through records. He listed William 1621, as marrying Abigail or Sara Hale in 1644 and Elizabeth Holder in 1651. The children he lists match the above, with the exception of Abraham belonging to the 1st wife and Elizabeth belonging to the second. I have no way of confirming his material, and have lost his name over the years.
