Thank you kindly Doug. This is most interesting and helpful information to me. I believe I am probably a cousin rather than a direct grand child of Salmon P. Chase. It is difficult making the connection though when you are a cousin rather than a direct descendent. I have forwarded this information to my cousin putting all this together.....thank you and happy holidays!
