Greetings from Maine...Thank you so very much for the quick, not to mention informative, reply. I do have a couple of questions. Under Jason's name is his father's name, Ebenezer & right below his father's name is Ebenezer3, Jacob2, William1. Is Ebenezer3 & Jason's father the same person or is Ebenezer's father named Ebenezer & is Mary Trowbridge Jason's great grandmother or great, great grandmother? Also, do you know of the common ancestor, if there is one to be found, of this Chamberlain lineage & the lineage of Joshua L. Chamberlain, 1828-1914, the famous Civil War general from Maine? The lady that I'm tracing this line for is bound & determined that there is one but I can't seem to locate the gentlemen! Again, thanks for sharing...that was a very kind gesture...DLF
