Diamond, Emily or Eloise Chamberlain were daughters of Samuel Chamberlain they had a younger brother called Joseph. Their mother was Clara Carr Chamberlain and she was supporting her
brood after the end of her marriage to Samuel in Adams County IL in 1900. When Samuel died in 1931 only Diamond and Joseph were mentioned in his obituary in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, newspaper. What happened to Diamond and Emily or Eloise. Joseph was found living in Walla Walla Washington state where he was an undertaker. I found Clara living with Eloise in Portland WA
in 1920. Presuming Diamond married and so did Emily/Eloise
I can't track them down. Joseph was the only child I could locate to adulthood, through the service of his country, etc.

Samuel was later married to Isabelle and she died in 1918 in Cedar Rapids,IA then he married Mina Abbott@ 1925 months before her death in 1925. Mr. Chamberlain ran a grocery store on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids, IA. He was also mentioned as having worked in Iowa State Bank. When he was buried he was laid to rest with Isabelle in the Mt. Vernon, Iowa cemetery. Mina is buried at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Ia. Where did Clara die and where was she buried?

When Samuel died he left no will, and a brother or two and some neighbors made his funeral arrangements.

Anyone know anything about Samuels children - diamond, Emily/Eloise and Joseph?
