Jesse Chamberlain's wife is named Clementine, based on the 1910-1930 census data, which lists their residence in Carroll Co., then in Gibson Co., Tennessee. 7 children are listed. The youngest of them, Garland Ethridge Chamberlain and his descendants, is the subject of an Ancestry.com family tree online, posted by Ron Pyron, evidently a descendant. Another son, Carlie B., whom you mentioned in your posting, was the subject of GenForum and Ancestry.com postings in 1999 by a great granddaughter, Audrey Renee Chamberlain-Jowers, Email: danrenee@hcol.net, who thought the family might have come from the area of Boliver, in Hardeman Co., TN, but I find no confirmation of this. I've been frustrated in trying to identify Jesse Chamberlain in the 1900, 1880 and 1870 census records, but he might well be the person listed in the 1880 Census in Carroll Co., District 16, as W. J., age 13, son of A. & M. - ages 35 & 36, respectively. There are several families listed in the 1870 Census there who might be related, some of whom I've traced a bit here.
