Benjamin Chamberlain b 1746 d1816 Sussex, NJ

I am trying to find benjamins father. I have been told that his father is benjamin b1725 but have not, thus far, been able to tie the two together. He emigrated to NJ before 1767 from either CT or MA
I am a decendant of flossie 1892, d of george b 1852 s of charles (all of Susquehann Co. PA) son of benjamin 1746. I find from benjamin 1725 back to edmond 1695 and edmund 1660 and then i think to william. It seems as if benjamin 1746 just appears from no where (i did find the Decendants of Benjamin Chamberlin in Sparta, NJ written by Fretz in 1907) but the net is sparse when it comes to his real early days. Please help if you can. Thanks
