Hi Tim,
Today's mail contained a copy of the birth certificate of John Percy Chalinor that my m-in-law found. The interesting thing is on that the name is spelt Challinor.
John Percy's date of bith being 9/5/1889, married Maggie Buchanan in Australia and died 4/9/1964.
Would you have information on the parents or grandparents of Peter.
I researched my family tree 25 years ago and was quite surprised to see so much of it on computer nowadays. Are there any good web sites for researching UK origins. My mothers family are English and Scots and like my in-laws, I have not researched them as I felt it would be too hard to research another country.
