Leona Witt White, 95, Lakemoore subdivision passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. J. W. White; sons, Robert Charles, David Lee and James William, Jr.; parents, Marion and Jeannie Witt; brothers, Marvin and Hugh Witt; sister, Carrie Rickettes; step-children, Edward White, Frances Quinn, Betty Hopson, and Stella Kesterson; grandchildren, Kim Helton, Oscar Hazelwood, Jr., and Charles Kirkpatrick White. She is survived by daughters, Ann Graham and Martha White of the home, Dorothy (Kirk) Lewis, Judy (Bob) Loftin, Jewel (Eddie) Guinn and Bobbie White; sons, Benny (Annette) White and Thomas White; sister, Lorene Lawless; and special adopted son, James Bo Gray; several grand- children, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13, 2009, in the chapel of Stetzer Funeral Home from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, June 14, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Stetzer Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynda Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Carter Cemetery. Arrangements by Stetzer Funeral Home of Morristown.
