Your ancestor, George W. Washburn, and I are both descendants of Charles Washburn 1744-1782. As I calculate it, George and I are 2nd cousins, 3rd removed. As, you and I are 4rd cousins, 2nd removed. George's lineage is though Thomas, oldest son of Charles. My ancestry is through Isaac, Sr., 2nd son.
