I have a box full of memorabilia dating back to around 1895 with many references to Thomas J. Stacey and his family. This Stacey left England around 1884 after having served as a stockbroker's clerk. In Fort Saskatchewan he seems to have served as an elected official, as a sort of chief of police-- there is a study documenting his role. There are also letters and photographs. I would like to correspond with my Stacey cousins-- my great-grandmother Ethyl had several siblings. I am told that there are, even now, Staceys living in Fort Saskatchewan. --John M. Blankenship
