In case it is of interest to anyone, there is a portrait of Mr. Hiram Sibley posted on deadfred.com: http://www.deadfred.com/surnamePersR_05.php?ID=94297 This portrait of Mr.Hiram Sibley appears as frontispiece illustration to Agricultural Review and Journal of the American Agricultural Association, vol.2, no.3, August 1882. See the essay beginning on page 77 of that volume for more information. Mr. Sibley was one time proprietor of the Burr Oaks Farm which was a large farm in New York State, USA. I am not researching this line, just saw the picture and thought I'd post it.
