Louis, here is what I have found in the Sibley book: "William Sibley was b. 1821, d. 1842 Savannah, GA. He may have had a brother, Lewis L. Sibley, or perhaps he was another son who died young. There were two sons older than Walter M. William Sibley m. Marie T. Rivers 30 (sic) Feb. 1840. She m. (2) S. Charles Adams 8 Feb 1883 at Peterson, NJ. She d. at Sheffield, Ala. She was dau. of William Hollingshead Rivers, below. William Hollingshead Rivers, b. 24 Apr 1795, d 4 May 1865, m. Eliza Rivers Royall 23 Nov 1818. She was b. 23 Mar 1796, d 24 Jul 1865. They had six children: Eliza Cecelia Rivers b. 30 Aug 1819, d. 24 Feb 1822; Maria Theresa Rivers b. 12 Sept 1821, d. Aug 1907, above; Winfield Montgomery Rivers, b. 20 Feb 1824, m. Susan E. Capers 9 Dec 1849 in Newton Co., GA; William Bainbridge Rivers, b. 6 Sept 1827, m Sophia R. Thomas 31 Jul 1849 Oxford, Newton Co., Ga; Capers Michel Rivers b. 10 Sept 1838 (?) m. Isabel B. Whitney 18 Jul 1854. She was b. 26 Jan 1839; Harriet Eliza Rivers b. 31 Aug 1848, may have belonged in another family. The record is unclear." I found no other information specific to Lewis L. Sibley. I hope this helps somewhat. Carmen
