Looking for the decendants of Hannah and/or Harriet Shafer any spelling. Father was John Joseph Shafer, Mother unknown. Fathers home was in New York and Hannah was born there, Harriet was born in Ohio. I would like to learn of the mothers name and any info about their marriage. It only lasted a few years and is a big gap in our tree.
