I am the descendant of William David Shafer born in 1834 in Illinois and moved to Indiana. He was married to Elizabeth born in England in 1847. T hey had two sons, Edward born in Illinois and Lewis born in Indiana. Lewis left Indiana moving to Missouri where he married and then moved to Oklahoma. My father was born in OK. He had four siblings and he and his sister Alberta are the only ones with descendants. I have no info on Edward other than he was in Indiana in 1900. Can't find him after that. Don't know what happened to his children. Can't find them either. I am trying to find William David's parents and where his family was from.
