My family name is Shafer, but was spelled alot of ways down the line. CHARLES WILSON SHAFER & NELLIE MAE WILLIAMS SHAFER were my paternal grandparents. Am looking for information, pictures, sketches on any of the people named in this letter. HENRY FRANKLIN SHAFER & VIOLA ADELINE MORRISON SHAFER JOHN S SHAFFER & AMANDA MCGRAW SHAFFER JOHN C SHEAFFER & FRANZINA OTTERMAN SHEAFFER FREDERICK SCHAEFFER & ANNA MARGARETHA HETRICK SCHAEFFER AND the ancestors. Am interested if this is the line that goes back to JOHANN PETER SCHAEFFER 1600-1665 in Relsberg Germany. I can't find anything much on the williams branch but that is for a different forum i guess!!\ But just in case, williams/rothwell ;~)
