William Homer and Bertha Matthyer?? They were married in Oklahoma on February 13, 1904 and are my grandparents. They had a child Joseph Eldon Shafer b 8-18-1932 in Bridgeport, Ne. Joseph AKA Spud, was my father. I have most of the grandchildrens names and several other contacts. One of my cousin's Virgie (Ruths daughter) has lots of information regarding the family. Kaylynn, are you a daughter of Denny Ellis,Dorothy's son? My email should show please contact me, I would be happy to provide you with whatever info I have. There was also an adoped son William "Bill" who was the biological son of Lucy. Ruth is the only child living and she just turned 99 this month. She live in a nursing home in Bayard, NE.
