I received a copy of a the bible records of the following people: John Shafer b. Fredericksburg, MD June 1786, d. January 31, 1890 Eliza Dennison b. Fairfax, VT March 11, 1799, d. february 27, 1882 They were married on February 9, 1815 by Rev. A. Kelsey (The location is not given, but I assume it was New York, probably Niagara CO) Children: Fedelia R. b. April 1, 1818, d. March 10, 1844 Sherman b. November 9, 1819 Sophia H. b. October 13, 1821 Effa M. b. December 1823 Benjamin F b. February 22, 1826, d. August 1878 Seymour S. and Lucy C. b. Janaury 10, 1829 Seymour died Sept 9, 1829 Lucy died June 29, 1852 Martha M. b. April 17, 1832 Mason L. b. December 20, 1834 Oscar S. b. February 7, 1836, d. November 27, 1895 Marion A. b. August 3, 1838 Alantha L. b. July 11, 1843 Helen Cornelia Everett b. Fremont, OH March 24, 1841. She married Eri M. French on May 28 1856 by J. Pintlar of Lisbon. Cyrus French b. February 16, 1858 Eri M. French d. on October 12, 1858 Helen Shafter died on March 18, 1916 ## Helen married Oscar S. Shafer on January 27, 1864 No locations and I assume the deaths all occurred in MI. The source for this is a Shafer-Dennison Bible in Michigana, Volume 9A, no. 4. 1964. This bible record was referenced on a DAR application for a person descended from this family. Pamela
