Grady Wait posted on RootsWeb in 2002 that Lingan SELBY, b. [by] 1795, s/o Drucilla FOWLER & Lingan Wilson SELBY, m. 3 Sep. 1815, Adair Co., KY, Mary BEARD. In 1830, Lingan was of Wabash Co., IL: male 30 - 40 {so b. 1790+}; female 20 - 30; one female aged 5 - 10, & two males under five. Lingan [Wilson] SELBY was 23 on the 1776 Census of Prince George's Co., MD, with Drucilla, 20; and a male aged one. See GenForum > surnames> SELBY #277, for possible children of Lingan Wilson & Drucilla. I don't know anything about a Mary/Polly SELBY who m. 1809, Jas. BEARD. Do you have names of children of either couple? |
